Opened in August of 2005, Drunken Fish Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar brought with it a selection of cuisine rivaling the majority of Asian restaurants in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. Proudly presenting dishes that make you wonder "Why didn't I come here before?", Drunken Fish's namesake comes from the exquisite sauces that accompany many of the featured fare. A delicate blend of sake and wine flavors in traditional sauces leaves you with a flavorful dish, bereft of alcoholic taste.

Pulling from his Vietnamese heritage, Chung Chris Vo has owned and operated Drunken Fish from the beginning. No stranger to the restaurant business, Chris had worked in Japanese restaurants in Baton Rouge for eighteen years before moving on to New York to complete his studies at the Culinary Institute of America. There he was trained in classical French cuisine and went on to work in restaurants in New York, Atlanta and Key West. Moving back to Baton Rouge, Chris launched the Drunken Fish Restaurant. Able to bring his native Vietnamese dishes to an area where Pho is scarce, he was the first to combine the flavors of Vietnam and Japan in a way that is delectable and appealing to Asian connoisseurs and newcomers alike.
